Morning Three-Car Accident on 215 Freeway in Highgrove Kills 1 Driver

 
HIGHGROVE, CA (July 4, 2022) – One person was killed in a three-car accident on the 215 Freeway near Highgrove early Saturday morning on July 2.
 
The accident happened a little before 6:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway, just south of La Cadena Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, three cars collided for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, the driver of one sedan suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Authorities only described the victim as a woman. They withheld her identity pending family notification.
 
Drugs or alcohol were not contributing factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
