3 Vehicles Involve in Deadly Street Racing Hit-and-Run on 215 Freeway in Perris

 
PERRIS, CA (May 30, 2021)a – At least one person was killed in a street racing hit-and-run on 215 Freeway in Perris late Friday evening, May 28.
 
The accident happened around 11:12 p.m. at the intersection with Highway 74. CHP officials said the crash involved a red Nissan 350Z, a red Ford and an SUV.
 
A witness told officials that the parties involved were street racing prior to the collision. One of the cars fled the scene.
 
First responders found one person inside a vehicle, where airbags had deployed. It is unknown how may parties were injured, but they confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the collision.
 
Debris from crash scattered across several lanes. A white Honda Civic traveling northbound was hit by debris.
 
California Highway Patrol officials are still investigating the accident and on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect.
