Car Hits Semi Truck and Overturns on Highway 247 in Lucerne Valley Killing One

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (August 29, 2022) – One person was killed in a rollover accident on Highway 247 in Lucerne Valley early Friday morning, August 26.
 
The accident happened around 4:12 a.m. near Santa Fe Fire Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a green Mini Cooper hit a semi truck for unknown reasons.
 
The impact caused the Mini Cooper to roll over several times. It came to rest off the highway and landed back on its wheels.
 
San Bernardino County Fire Department crews responded and performed life-saving rescue measures. Sadly, one person did not survive and died at the scene.
 
It is unclear what led up to the crash at this time. The California Highway Patrol Victorville Office is handling the investigation.
