Fatal Rollover Accident on 10 Freeway at Fairplex Drive

 
POMONA, CA (June 21, 2021) – At least one person died in a rollover accident on 10 Freeway at Fairplex Drive early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 3:39 a.m. on June 20. According to the California Highway Patrol, a green Volkswagen had overturned and landed on its roof for unknown reasons.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and found two people trapped inside the car. Paramedics transported three patients to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
Officers confirmed that at least one person died in the accident. They will release the victim’s identity once family members are notified.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
