Authorities Investigate Possible Deadly Hit-and-Run on Abernathy Road in Fairfield

 
FAIRFIELD, CA (March 14, 2021) – One person died in a possible hit-and-run accident on Abernathy Road at Andrews Lane Friday night, March 12.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:00 p.m. Officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. They also said a gold sedan was involved.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
Authorities are still investigating the accident. Anyone who may have seen the Lexus sedan in the area is asked to call the Solano-area CHP at 707-428-2100.
