Driver Dead in Pomona Police Chase Accident at San Antonio Avenue

 
POMONA, CA (February 5, 2021) — One person died in an accident at San Antonio Avenue and Philadelphia Street, following a police chase Wednesday.
 
According to Pomona police, the fatal crash happened around 4:00 p.m.
 
Per reports, the chase began as officers tried pulling over a suspect for a vehicle violation. However, the suspect took off, resulting in a police chase.
 
At some point during the pursuit, the suspect drove through an intersection. There, the suspect’s vehicle crashed into an innocent driver, killing that person at the scene. At this time, the victim’s identity has not been released.
 
Failing to comply with authorities, the suspect fled the area. However, officers caught the driver soon after and arrested the man.
