One Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident on West Valley Boulevard and Santa Lucia Street

 
TEHACHAPI, CA (May 10, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian crash on West Valley Boulevard on Sunday, May 8.
 
Officials received reports of the crash at around 9:20 p.m. on West Valley Boulevard at Santa Lucia Street.
 
According to CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page, someone called they had hit a person who walked in front of their car.
 
Medics responded and then pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
The Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the pedestrian at a later time.
 
As of now, there is no reports whether speed or impairment is a factor in the incident.
 
The investigation of the collision is still under investigation.
