WILLOWBROOK, CA (October 30, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident at South Willowbrook Avenue and East El Segundo Boulevard.
 
The accident happened around 12:55 p.m. on Saturday, October 30. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was either walking or standing at the intersection when a vehicle struck them.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered significant injuries. Responding paramedics attempted saving the victim, but the patient died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the pedestrian was not immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
