Early Morning Pedestrian Accident on Soboba Road in San Jacinto Turns Deadly

 
SAN JACINTO, CA (October 20, 2022) – One person died in a pedestrian accident on Soboba Road in San Jacinto early Saturday morning on October 15.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:36 a.m. at State Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck the pedestrian who was either walking or standing at the intersection.
 
The impact caused the pedestrian fatal injuries and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver remained after the crash. It is also unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
