OAKLAND, CA (October 30, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident at Foothill Boulevard and 23rd Avenue Friday evening.
 
The accident happened shortly before 10:00 p.m. on October 29. According to the Oakland Police Department, the victim was a juvenile riding a scooter in the area when a vehicle struck them.
 
When officers arrived, they located the victim lying in the street near the crosswalk. The involved driver was not found.
 
Paramedics rendered aid, but the victim died at the scene.
