Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 405 Freeway at Century Boulevard

 
INGLEWOOD, CA (May 3, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on 405 Freeway in Inglewood early Wednesday morning, April 28.
 
The accident happened around 5:00 a.m. on the road leading from the northbound freeway to Century Boulevard. The location is just east of Los Angeles International Airport.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck the pedestrian causing the person fatal injuries.
 
First responders pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a contributing factor. The circumstances of the death remain under investigation.
