Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 280 Freeway in Cupertino Involves at Least 2 Vehicles

 
CUPERTINO, CA (October 17, 2022) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on 280 Freeway in Cupertino on Friday evening, October 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:21 p.m. near the North Wolfe Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking in the area when at least two vehicles struck them.
 
As a result, the victim suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Their identity was not immediately available.
 
It is unknown at this time if the drivers involved stayed after the crash.
 
CHP officials are stil investigating whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the fatality.
