Pedestrian Dies after Hit by Vehicle on 10 Freeway in West Covina Area

 
WEST COVINA, CA (December 14, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway in the West Covina area on Monday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:20 a.m. near Holt Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on the freeway when it struck the pedestrian who was walking in the area.
 
The pedestrian, whose identity was not immediately available, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver has stayed after the crash.
 
Eastbound lanes were blocked in the area while an investigation was conducted.
