Semi-Truck Involved in Fatal Accident on Sierra Highway at West Avenue N in Palmdale

 
PALMDALE, CA (September 2, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a semi-truck accident on Sierra Highway on September 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at West Avenue N around 2:20 PM.
 
Based on reports, the truck collided with a dark-colored sedan near the Palmdale Regional Airport. The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the truck crushed the sedan beneath it.
 
As a result, one person in the sedan died at the scene. The person’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin. In addition, another person suffered injuries in the incident.
 
Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
 
At this point, no other details are available. Also, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
