Fatal Rollover Accident Occurs on 5 Freeway in Frazier Park

 
FRAZIER PARK, CA (June 7, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a rollover accident on northbound 5 Freeway on June 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Grapevine Road shortly after 9:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving his Mazda 5 on the freeway at the time of the crash. As he entered Grapevine Road, the vehicle left the roadway. Subsequently, it crashed and overturned in the lanes.
 
As a result, the man sustained major injuries in the incident. Emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene. Officials only identified him as a 38-year-old Bakersfield man. His 18-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and sought her own aid.
 
At this time, this rollover accident on 5 Freeway is still under investigation.
