Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 184 in Southeast Bakersfield Ends in Fatality
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 29, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 184 in southeast Bakersfield Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:13 p.m., March 28. CHP officers said a semi truck and several other vehicles were involved.
While details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, officers confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident. They did not release the victim’s identity pending family notification.
Several other people sustained injuries from the crash.
At this time, it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. Further investigation is underway.
