Fatal Jurupa Valley Multi-Vehicle Accident on 60 Freeway

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (August 1, 2022) – One person died in a multi-vehicle accident on 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley early Sunday morning, July 31.
 
The accident happened around 4:10 a.m. just west of Valley Way. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least four vehicles collided along the eastbound freeway.
 
As a result of the crash, one person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The identity of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol was involved. The circumstances of this fatal crash remain under investigation.
