Early Morning Multi-Vehicle Accident on 60 Freeway in Ontario Kills 1 and Injures Several Others
ONTARIO, CA (November 24, 2021) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 60 Freeway in Ontario early Monday morning.
The accident happened around 2:00 a.m. on November 22 at the intersection with Mountain Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least three vehicles collided along the westbound freeway for unknown reasons.
When officers arrived, they confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. They will release the identity of the deceased once family members are notified.
Meanwhile, several others were injured and taken to hospitals.
Crews closed all freeway lanes for a period of time during the morning commute. They advised motorists to use alternate routes.
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
