One Dies in Roseville Multi-Car Crash on 80 Freeway

 
ROSEVILLE, CA (March 12, 2021) — One person was killed in a multi-car accident on the 80 Freeway near Douglas Boulevard Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver merging onto the freeway lost control of the wheel. Subsequently, the driver’s vehicle struck a second car, sending the first car into a third vehicle.
 
Following the accident, paramedics responded and pronounced the driver of the merging vehicle dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the two others stayed on-site and cooperated with police investigations.
