Fatal Motorcycle Crash Reported on South Campus Drive in Pomona

 
POMONA, CA (April 29, 2021) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle crash on South Campus Drive on April 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at West Temple Avenue shortly before 7:50 PM.
 
Based on a report, the motorcyclist was traveling on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he crashed into a traffic sign at an intersection. However, the details that led to the accident were not yet available.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name pending kin notification.
 
Consequently, the crash closed the intersection for nearly six hours before it reopened Tuesday morning.
