Motorcycle Dies in High-Speed Accident on West Hedding Street in San Jose
SAN JOSE, CA (August 4, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident in the 2000 block of West Hedding Street on July 30.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 5:18 PM.
Based on reports, the male rider was traveling eastbound on Hedding at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash. Then, he lost control of the motorcycle and struck a tree.
As a result, the rider died in the incident. Officials did not yet release his name pending kin notification. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office said the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
At this point, no other details about this motorcycle accident on West Hedding Street are available. In addition, the San Jose Police Department is still investigating the case. Also, the Department’s Traffic Investigations Unit asks anyone with information to contact them at (408) 277-4654.
