Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Vehicle on Hilltop Drive in Redding
REDDING, CA (June 4, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Hilltop Drive in Redding Friday evening on June 2.
According to the Redding Police Department, the victim was riding their motorcycle southbound in the 40 block of Hilltop Drive when a vehicle struck them around 9:47 p.m. The motorcyclist then crashed into a raised concrete median.
First responders found the motorcyclist in the roadway and was unresponsive.
Despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
An investigation into this crash is underway. Police asked anyone with further information to call them at 530-225-4200.
