Motorcyclist Dies in Chico Crash on East 20th Street

 
CHICO, CA (March 20, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on East 20th Street in Chico Friday night on March 17.
 
Around 6:20 p.m. officers responded to the 1000 block of East 20th Street, along with medical and fire personnel. Upon arrival, they located the motorcycle rider suffering from major injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed the rider to a hospital, where the victim later died.
 
At this time, it is unclear how many other vehicles were involved. It is also unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
 
The Chico Police Department is still investigating the circumstances of the crash. They asked anyone with further information to contact the CPD Traffic Unit at 530-895-4911.
