Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with Another Vehicle on 60 Freeway in Avocado Heights

AVOCADO HEIGHTS, CA (November 8, 2021) – One person died in a motorcycle accident on 60 Freeway in Avocado Heights Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on November 6 at the intersection with northbound 605 Freeway. CHP officials said the victim was riding the motorcycle when they collided with another vehicle.
 
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and they died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not yet disclosed. It is also unclear if the driver of the other vehicle has stayed after the crash.
 
Crews closed the third and fourth lanes of the freeway for an unknown duration while they cleared the wreckage.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
