Fatal Pedestrian Accident on East 71st Street in South LA

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (April 14, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on East 71st Street in South Los Angeles early Tuesday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened around 1:24 a.m. on April 13 at 100 East 71st Street in the Florence area. A vehicle struck the pedestrian in unknown circumstances.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name, age and gender pending confirmation and family notification.
 
An investigation into this fatal accident is underway.
