Pedestrian Dead after Hit-and-Run Crash on West 93rd Street near South Broadway

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 11, 2022) — A pedestrian died following a hit-and-run accident on West 93rd Street on Thursday, March 10.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police and Fire departments, the incident happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the 200 block of West 93rd near South Broadway.
 
Police believe a blue SUV struck the victim. Then the vehicle fled and headed south on Broadway, Officer Drake Madison of the LAPD said.
 
The pedestrian died at the scene. Officers only describe him as a man in his 30s. They will release his identity once they have notified his loved ones.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
