TOPANGA, CA (March 8, 2021) – One person died Wednesday evening after a hit-and-run accident near Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:40 p.m. on March 3, near the Woodland Park Estates neighborhood.
 
CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. The victim died at the scene.
 
The victim’s identity will be released once next of kin is properly notified.
 
Authorities are still investigating the crash to determine the factors involved and liability.
