RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (February 2, 2021) – One person died in a hit-and-run accident on Folsom Boulevard in Rancho Cordova, Friday evening.
 
The hit-and-run accident happened just after 9:00 a.m. near Mather Field Road.
 
CHP officials said a driver struck two people at a business parking lot in the area then took off without rendering aid.
 
One of the victims was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
The second victim suffered minor injuries and was expected to recover.
 
There was no description of the hit-and-run driver or vehicle involved.
 
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is investigating this hit-and-run accident.
