FAIRFIELD, CA (March 15, 2021) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a hit-and-run accident on Abernathy Road on March 13.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Andrews Lane around 6:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, emergency crews found the victim near the intersection. Prior to that, they believe the victim may have been hit by a gold Lexus sedan.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officers have not yet released the deceased’s identity pending kin notification.
