Head-On Accident on Highway 152 in Gilroy Kills One Driver

 
GILROY, CA (November 19, 2021) – One person was killed in a head-on accident on Highway 152 near Gilroy on Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:07 a.m. on November 14 on the two-lane road, known as the Pacheco Pass Highway, near San Felipe Lake. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Tacoma was traveling on Highway 152.
 
Soon after, it drifted across the center median and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram 3500.
 
As a result, one of the drivers suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
It is unknown if there are other injuries sustained in the crash. Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
