Head-On Accident on Highway 108 near Keystone Leaves at Least One Person Dead

 
KEYSTONE, CA (January 9, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a head-on accident on Highway 108 near Keystone, late Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on January 8, at the intersection with J59, also known as La Grange Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white SUV collided head-on with another vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
The impact of the crash caused fatal injuries to at least one person. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Flying debris from the crash hit a gray Subaru Forester.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
