Motorhome Involved in Deadly Head-On Accident on Highway 101 at Hudson Road

 
GREENFIELD, CA (June 21, 2021) – One person was killed in a head-on accident on Highway 101 just north of Greenfield Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:50 p.m. on June 16, at Hudson Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorhome with a trailer was traveling northbound when it hit the center divider and crossed over the southbound lanes. After that, it then collided head-on with a gray van.
 
The motorhome then overturned on its side and sustained major front-end damage. The van ended up in a ditch with water in it.
 
As a result of the collision, one person suffered severe injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Paramedics airlifted two other people to a hospital in unknown conditions.
 
CHP officials are trying to determine the exact cause of the collision and factors involved.
