One Fatally Injured after Head-On Accident on Highway 58 near General Beale Road

 
ARVIN, CA (November 22, 2021) — One person died following a head-on crash on Highway 58, east of Bakersfield on Saturday, November 20.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of Highway 58 near General Beale Road.
 
CHP said that a Honda Accord crashed head-on with a semitrailer truck.
 
At least one person died in the collision.
 
It is unknown if there were sustained injuries at this time. However, CHP continues to investigate to determine the cause of the crash.
