Fiery Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 118 in Ventura County Ends in Fatality

 
VENTURA COUNTY, CA (October 30, 2021) – At least one person died in a fiery multi-vehicle accident on Highway 118 in Ventura County Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 9:57 p.m. on October 29, near Everest Street. According to the Ventura County Fire Department, several vehicles including a truck pulling a trailer collided for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they located one vehicle fully engulfed with fire. They also found two people stuck inside.
 
Paramedics attempted saving the occupants, but at least one of them did not survive. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
