Early Morning Fiery Accident on Canoga Avenue Leaves 1 Dead

 
CANOGA PARK, CA (January 15, 2022) – One person was killed in a fiery accident on Canoga Avenue in Canoga Park, early Friday morning.
 
The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on January 14 at 6500 North Canoga Avenue near Victory Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a vehicle collided with a tanker truck for unknown reasons. The impact caused the tanker truck to burst into flames, spilling an estimated 1,000 gallons of fuel.
 
First responders found one person with fatal injuries and pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
After the crash, crews closed Victory Boulevard and Canoga Avenue for an unknown duration while the cleaned up the wreckage.
