Dump Truck Accident on Crestview Drive in San Carlos Leaves One Dead
SAN CARLOS, CA (March 4, 2021) – One person died Tuesday afternoon after a dump truck accident at Crestview Drive and Edmonds Road.
The accident happened around 2:05 p.m. on March 2, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the dump truck and a Buick sedan collided for unknown reasons. Paramedics and firefighters immediately responded and performed life-saving measures on the male driver of the Buick.
The man did not survive and died at the scene. He was the sole occupant of his car.
The coroner’s office will release the victim’s identity once it has been confirmed and his next of kin is notified.
The driver of the dump truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
