One Dead in Big Rig Accident on 110 Freeway near West Gage Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 26, 2022) — One person died in a big rig crash on the 110 Freeway at around 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, December 24.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident involved a tanker truck and a van in the southbound lanes of 110 Freeway at West Gage Avenue.
One person died at the scene. There are no reports of other injuries.
LAFP said the tanker did not spill its cargo.
Officials closed all southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway for several hours in the area.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
