Early Morning Crash with Big Rig on 10 Freeway in Ontario Ends in Fatality

 
ONTARIO, CA (January 8, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a big rig crash on 10 Freeway in Ontario early Wednesday morning on January 4.
 
The crash happened around 3:49 a.m. at Archibald Avenue, involving a Chevrolet Impala and a tractor trailer. According to the Ontario Fire Department, one of the vehicles collided into the other in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding officers confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash. They withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
