Bicyclist Dies after Colliding with Vehicle on Sand Canyon Road in Angeles National Forest Area
TUJUNGA CANYONS, CA (May 2, 2022) – One person was killed in a bicycle accident on Sand Canyon Road in Tujunga Canyons near Santa Clarita on Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened around 12:45 p.m. on April 30 in the Angeles National Forest area. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the bicyclist collided with a vehicle collided in the 21500 block of Sand Canyon Road.
As a result, the unidentified bicyclist suffered a head trauma and died at the scene.
No other injuries were reported. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
An investigation into this fatal crash is underway.
