Fatal Bicycle Accident on North Beale Road in Linda

 
LINDA, CA (June 16, 2021) – One person was killed in a bicycle accident on North Beale Road in the area of Linda in Yuba City late Sunday afternoon.
 
Around 5:20 p.m. on June 13, CHP officials responded to the scene at 1814 North Beale Road near Albrecht Avenue after receiving reports of a traffic accident involving a bicycle and a vehicle.
 
Upon arrival, they found the bicyclist suffering from major injuries. Paramedics immediately performed CPR, but the patient died at the scene.
 
The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
It is unclear if the driver of the involved vehicle stayed after the crash. It is also unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor.
 
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
