One Dies in 2-Car Crash on San Felipe Road

 
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA (December 30, 2021) — One person died in a 2-car accident on San Felipe Road at Mile Marker 1100 Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 2:51 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, two cars, including a red Ford Focus, collided near the community of Ranchita.
 
As a result of the accident, one person suffered fatal injuries, and paramedics brought another to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
 
At this time, authorities have not released information on what led to the crash. Although, any witnesses with information should contact the CHP.
