Injuries Sustained in Two-Vehicle Crash on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley
APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 11, 2021) – One person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Bear Valley Road on November 7.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Braeburn Road around 10:00 AM.
Based on an initial report, a black BMW sedan and a Chevy Colorado pickup truck collided in the lanes. Prior to that, the truck made a left turn in front of the BMW. Then, the collision occurred, causing the truck to overturn into the U-Haul parking lot where it landed near the propane refill island.
As a result, an elderly driver was trapped inside the truck. According to reports, several bystanders helped lift the truck and rescued the victim. Subsequently, emergency crews transported him using an ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
At this point, the Apple Valley Police Department is investigating the accident.
