COTTONWOOD, CA (June 1, 2022) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on South Martin Luther King Boulevard in Cottonwood on Tuesday morning, May 31.
 
The accident happened around 5:14 a.m. at Feliz Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle had ran a stop light and hit another car.
 
A bicycle was also possibly involved in the crash.
 
Officers arrived and found one person with injuries from the crash. Emergency crews took the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
At this time, the circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.
