Two-Car Accident on Highway 140 in Gustine Injures One

 
GUSTINE, CA (May 4, 2022) – One person was injured in a two-car accident on Highway 140 in Gustine on Thursday, April 28.
 
The accident happened near the intersection of Highway 33. According to the Gustine Police Department, the suspect vehicle had expired registration. The driver sped away from police, leading to a pursuit.
 
A short time later, the suspect vehicle then collided into another car near the intersection. The impact caused one of the cars to overturn on its side. Both cars also sustained major damage.
 
An air ambulance took one person to a regional hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the identity of the suspect was not immediately available. The crash remains under investigation.
