DUI Driver Involved in Stolen Golf Cart Accident on Adams Avenue in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (August 17, 2021) – One person suffered injuries in a stolen golf cart accident on Adams Avenue on August 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Florida Street shortly before 11:00 AM.
Based on reports, three males were in a golf cart that was running fast and erratically near Adams Avenue. Then, the driver lost control and a passenger fell out of the cart, hitting his head on the street. Subsequently, the driver stopped and fled on foot and along with another male passenger.
As a result, the passenger who fell sustained a brain bleed. Officials did not yet release an update regarding the victim’s condition.
In the end, officers with the San Diego Police arrested the driver who appeared to be under the influence. At this point, this stolen golf cart accident on Adams Avenue is still under investigation.
