Male Adult Suffers Injuries after Chased and Struck by Vehicle at Shannon and First Streets
SANTA ANA, CA (September 14, 2021) – One person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident at Shannon Street and First Street on Tuesday, September 7.
The accident happened in the Riverview West neighborhood. According to the Santa Ana Police Department, three vehicles chased a male adult for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles then struck the victim.
After being struck, several occupants exited the vehicles and punched and kicked the victim while on the ground.
As a result, the victim suffered a bump to the left side of his head. Responding paramedics transported him to a hospital for treatment. He is now in stable condition.
The suspects fled in their respective vehicles before police arrived.
