HERCULES, CA (June 1, 2021) – One suffered injuries in a four-vehicle accident on 80 Freeway in Hercules, the CHP said.
 
The accident happened around 1:20 p.m. on Monday, May 31 along the westbound lane of the freeway, just north of Highway 4. Officers responded to help the victims and clear the wreckage off the freeway.
 
Emergency crews requested a helicopter ambulance to transport one patient to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, it is not immediately known how many people were injured.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the exact cause of the crash and factors involved.
