HOPLAND, CA (July 21, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person suffered injured in a car accident on Old River Road on July 19.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the Hopland Cemetery at approximately 7:20 PM.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle went off Old River Road. Subsequently, the car hit a tree and landed in a ditch. Initial information described the vehicle as not being visible from the roadway. CHP reported the vehicle was 15-20′ down a roadside ditch.
 
As a result, one person suffered minor injuries. Immediately, a ground ambulance transported the patient to a local hospital for treatment.
