Three Vehicles Involved in Bay Bridge Rollover Crash on 80 Freeway

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 5, 2022) — One person suffered injuries in a rollover crash on 82 Freeway in the San Francisco, area Monday night.
 
The incident happened on the Bay Bridge near Treasure Island according to the California Highway Patrol. At about 7:20 p.m., three vehicles collided in the said area.
 
There was no further information as to the make and model of the vehicles involved. But based on reports, one of them overturned as a result of the crash. Updates on the condition of the patient were not immediately available.
 
At 7:45 p.m. the CHP released an alert notifying motorists of the severe traffic caused by the crash. Lanes 1 and 2 on the westbound side of the freeway reopened at about 8:20 pm.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
