BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 15, 2021) — A crash on Calloway Drive at Westside Parkway left one person injured Sunday morning in Southwest Bakersfield.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, reports about the accident came in at about 11:45 a.m. When officers and emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found an overturned vehicle.
 
Paramedics rushed an occupant of the vehicle to Kern Medical for treatment and further evaluation. Reports indicated that the patient had major injuries, including a broken leg.
 
Meanwhile, the circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately clear. CHP also have not released additional information on the identity of the injured person.
 
Whether alcohol, drugs, or speed was a factor in the crash remains undetermined. This crash is still under investigation.
